One of the major secrets in the successful growth of any company is the caliber of the people involved in the day-to-day operations.  At Cubix, Inc., we feel our professional  “family” is the best there is.  Here are some of our key people:

Travis Owens, Director of Operations and Flooring

Travis has been with Cubix since June of 2003 and is a veteran of the U.S  Marine Corps with distinguished service in Operation Desert Storm and Operation Desert Shield. He has been involved in the commercial flooring industry since 1997.

Travis is responsible for the day-to-day operations of both the MilliCare and SaniGlaze products and services with emphasis on quality and efficiency. He oversees projects that range from 5 square yards to over 150,000 square yards. Travis has been awarded the prestigious MilliCare Operations Award for each of the past two years for a top 5 operations team throughout the MilliCare international franchise network.

Jason Ruppel, Operations Supervisor

Jason has been with Cubix for five years and comes with more than 20 years experience in the commercial maintenance industry. He moved to Florida from Middleport, New York, in 1980 and was involved in a successful family floor maintenance business before joining Cubix.

Jason is responsible for all client on-site activity, including quality control, equipment performance and technician training. He oversees jobs that range from 1000 square feet to 250,000 square feet and a staff of 16 technicians.

Grace Cubarrubia, Director of Sales

Grace has been with Cubix since June of 2001 and is a high honors graduate of the University of Florida.  Her experience in sales comes mostly from her seven years prior in the office furniture industry.

Grace is responsible for the goals and direction of the MilliCare sales team.  Besides maintaining her own MilliCare client list, she also continues to pursue new clients for the company.

For the past two years, Grace has received awards for outstanding MilliCare Sales in the franchise network.  Most recently, she received the Excellence Award in Membership Marketing – Small Chapter, from the International Facility Management Association, which was presented at World Work Place 2007 in New Orleans, LA.  Grace is also an active Board Member and serves as Membership Chair for the IFMA Orlando Chapter.

Chris Cook, SaniGLAZE Director of Area Development

Chris joined the Cubix team earlier this year with the acquisition of the SaniGLAZE franchise. His prior sales career spans more than a decade and includes two Fortune 500 companies.

Chris is responsible for developing the Cubix's SaniGLAZE franchise in Central Florida.  He has enjoyed significant initial success in joining the unique qualities of the SaniGLAZE ceramic tile restoration system with the ongoing Cubix reputation for high quality and superior customer service.

Marca Barr, Sales Representative

Marca joined the Cubix sales force in February, 2007, after a sucessful career in business-to-business sales. She is a graduate of Florida State University.

Marca is involved in sales of the MilliCare textile and carpet cleaning and maintenance services for the Cubix award winning team in Central Florida.

Sharan Richardson, Sales Representative

Sharan is the newest addition to the Cubix, Inc. team and has been charged with expanding the company’s presence as a provider MilliCare Textile & Carpet Care services to the Tampa Bay market.

Drawing on nearly a decade of experience in sales, marketing and new business development in the Tampa area, Sharan has the qualifications and connections to bring the innovative and effective MilliCare process, along with Orlando’s trusted Cubix, Inc. service and professionalism, to a wider market.

Dani Chao, Administrative Assistant

Dani joined Cubix in January, 2004, after receiving her degree from the University of Central Florida.

Dani is responsible for much of the Cubix day-to-day business activity, including accounts payable, accounts receivable and an array of related functions. Every successful business operation has a main “go to” person and at Cubix, that’s Dani.

Rick & Judi DeVane, Owners

Rick and Judi purchased sole ownership of the company in 2004. Founded in 1997 as Modular Designs of Orlando, the company was part of a regional chain that offered only the MilliCare textile and carpet services. Rick was a partner in the local operation.

The company has grown to more than 25 employees and in 2007, Rick and Judi changed the name to Cubix, Inc. to better reflect the expanded focus of the company and it’s increased emphasis on sustainable, environmentally responsible floor care solutions.
