Carpet Sales & Installation

We specialize in modular carpet installations with lift requirements and our team can handle any commercial or government project up to 150,000 square yards. Our clients include some of Central Florida's largest corporations, schools and government complexes. We are proud to offer the Milliken brand of contract carpet, winner of numerous international awards for its environmentally-friendly aspects, and we consistently earn top awards for Milliken carpet sales. Orange County Convention Center

150,000 sq. yd. project included: 187 meeting/breakout rooms, 4 food courts, exhibit hall

The East-West Hall of the Orange County Convention Center contains over 4 million square feet of floor space, including 187 meeting and breakout rooms, 4 food courts, a 200-seat lecture hall and an exhibit hall larger than a football field, including end zones. The facility features a modernistic architectural design that carries over into the interior, where the carpeting forms geometric designs in the hallways that extend for more than a mile around the inside perimeter of the building.

Toni Green, a facilities supervisor on the convention center management team and responsible for the 150,000 sq. yd. project, still remains impressed with both the durability of the Milliken modular carpet system and the intricate Cubix installation craftsmanship.

“First impressions mean a lot to our facility because we get folks in here from all over the world and we want to impress them the moment they walk through the door,” Greene said. “We chose Milliken because of its reputation for quality and durability and we certainly got what we hoped for. But with the project management and installation, Cubix went well above and beyond expectations and we got much more than our money’s worth.”

The convention center is certified to ISO 14001 Environmental Management Standards. Milliken carpet is certified as an Environmentally Preferable Product, which helps to enhance the convention center’s “green” positioning.

Florida Department of Health

250,000 sq. ft. installed over 6-year client relationship

Neil Saville, Orlando facilities manager for the Florida Department of Health, only calls one single source for any flooring issues that develop in his one million square-foot office/medical complexes.

“Whether I need new carpeting installed, old carpeting cleaned or tile and grout cleaned, Cubix handles it all for us,” Saville explained.

Cubix, Inc. is Central Florida’s sustainable flooring specialist, offering a comprehensive list of flooring services, including Milliken carpet sales, MilliCare dry polymer cleaning process and SaniGLAZE ceramic tile and grout restoration.

“The Milliken carpeting is better than any other brand; I have seen this first-hand,” Saville said. “We first installed it in 2002 in a high traffic hallway and it’s still there and still looks great. We’ll eventually have it in all of our facilities.”

To date, Cubix has installed an estimated quarter million square feet of Milliken carpeting and entryway systems within the massive Health Department campuses. It’s been an on-going project, with no real end in sight.

“We’re always buying and installing new carpeting for some part of the complexes, and we’re specifying only Milliken carpet and working exclusively with Cubix,” Saville added, “Because both have an excellent track record with us.”

Orange County Government

Orange County Government has been a Cubix client for more than 4 years. “In the past year alone, Cubix has installed more than 100,000 square feet of flooring here and I have yet to complain about a problem,” John Hannah, the District Maintenance Supervisor and project manager, explained.

“The Cubix technicians have full unsupervised access to our facility. We have full trust in them. These are the kind of vendor relationships I like to have,” John added.

Because various parts of the complex are opened throughout the day and night, Cubix plans installations and maintenance in a manner that causes minimal disruptions and down time.
